Finishing a race is such a great feeling! It was a lot of fun to have John, Katy, William, and Marissa there with me. It was a great day!

Coming back to my seat with my medal. Second place in my age group! I finished with a mile and a half run, quarter mile swim, and four and a quarter mile bike ride. Not too shabby!

I love this shirt! Fun as this was, though, I will be focusing on running, at least until this comes around again.

Here we have the entertainment! William found a friend during the swim event. Her dad was in my wave, so they were together the rest of the day.

Swimming came next. I am waiting for our wave to be whistled in. While I wait, I get a pep talk from my cheerleaders.

We were divided into waves. I was in Wave H. We ran first. I did 18 laps, equal to a mile and a half. That was my goal!

Romantic Pre-Valentine's Week-end Away

We went to Cadillac for the motorcycle ice racing competition. It was a lot of fun. Here I am, checking out the feel of a bike.
