First real win!

I ran the Pinckney Memorial Day 5K. I had a slightly slower time than I was hoping for; 37:19, but I won my age group WITH competition! Pretty exciting! It was pretty hot. Mid 80's. Katiey Olsen was there, so we got to hang out a for awhile. It is always nice to be with her.

10K!!!

I ran my first 10K at Girls On The Run in Ypsi on May 20, 2012. It took an hour and a half, I was the last one in, but I finished! Katy, William, and Marissa did the 5K. There were activities for the kids afterward. I think we all had fun.

Spring Snowman 5K

Ran a 36:03.1. Just can't seem to get under 36 minutes! It was a fun race through a Brighton sub.

Ride for Recovery

After running a 5K fundraiser for Dawn Farm on April 29th, Katy and Claudia got their picture taken with one of the pigs. There was a lot going on. The kids had a lot of fun, John and I got to meet a couple of Michael's friends, Katy got hurt, and I ran another 36 minute 5K! The weather was just about perfect.

Spartan Splatter 5K

I just finished my first 5K in my new age bracket! My unofficial time was 36:00. I'm hoping to break 30 minutes soon, but this time is still pretty good! At every kilometer, we got edible, non-toxic color thrown on us, and a t-shirt to tie-dye at the end. It was a fun race!

Marissa got some nice green in her hair. The four of us together. Holi is one of my favorite holiday celebrations!

Holi on the Diag April 8th

The weather was much better this year. Katy came along. They all got into the colors this year, especially William! In the top picture, he is throwing some color, and in the bottom, he is smearing Katy!
