Made it to India

It was a lot of work, but I did it!I had to refund my Delta ticket through Amsterdam, then buy one from American Airlines that went Chicago to Delhi. Yesterday, Michael and I walked around Delhi in over 100 degree heat. It was crazy. I never really felt hot, but my mouth totally dried out and I had few little dizzy spells. We saw some incredible things. I will post pictures in a week or so when we get back to Michael's in Chennia. We were at Lodi park last night, which is the best place I have been so far. Today we went to Delhi market. It is really crazy!!! Busy, fast, all outdoor stalls. I can't describe it properly here. I bought an Indian outfit. It is the long tunic top, pajama bottom pants, and stole. The way it works is I went into a material shop and picked out and bought the fabric I wanted. Then I took it around the corner to the tailor and he made it while Michael and I continued with our day. We went to a Mosque, then lunch, then to the Red Fort. In the morning, I thought I was doing better than yesterday, but I think really we just got an earlier start. It went like this: walk a little way, buy a water and sit in the shade, walk a little way, sit in the shade. It was actually quite fun. We talked to some people, watched kids play, regained some energy, and saw some more sights. We then went and picked up my outfit and headed back to the hotel. I enjoy sitting in the parks as much as looking at the historical and quite beautiful landmarks. It has been a combination of intense, relaxing, amazing, tiring, and wonderful!
